It's official. I suck at everything. Mostly at losing weight.
I want to be skinny. I love being thin and feeling good... but there's something about food. Why can't I just be happy without it! DANG IT ALL! I'm so upset with myself. I had two really great days this week.. and then five terrible ones. And tomorrow I have to go back to weightwatchers. How embarassing.
Today, I hate food

Day 2 and 3
Well, so far so good with my weight loss journey. I weighed 165.8 this morning, so in two days I've dropped a little bit of weight. :) A little is always better than none.
Good things about yesterday: 1. I went to the gym - eliptical for 40 minutes
2. I got a tostada at Cafe Rio instead of the salad
Things to improve: 1. eating out - it wastes money and I usually eat too much
2. I really need to start counting points again - that's the goal for today, day 3.
Wish me luck!

The beginning of a journey...
Every good journey has to have a beginning. For me, this post is the beginning of several journeys. It's the beginning of a new semester of school. It's the beginning of a new kind of anxiety medicine which is helping me begin a lot of other things. It's the beginning of a spiritual/emotional journey that I've decided to take this semester - figuring out who I want to be/am. And, what I'll document most on this blog, it's also a weight loss journey for me for the next few months.
I don't have an excessive amount of weight to lose or anything. I'd like to lose about 30 pounds in the next six months or so. But really I'm starting this blog so that I can track my progress and dive deeper into myself. I want to really know and love me, it's important to me. So I'm working on it. Also, I know that no one will read this - that's kind of the point. But somehow, I feel accountable to all the people who just might read this. So, this blog is a way of figuring myself out while also keeping myself accountable for the goals that I'm setting for myself this semester.
Mostly I'll just discuss my weight loss journey. Who knows, maybe I'll post fun recipes and such. Probably not... but just maybe I will. I will definitely do a weekly weight in. I'm not ashamed of my weight, but I am ready for it to be gone. I want to live life more fully. And I really want to be able to trust myself enough to overcome my food addiction. There. I said it. Food addiction. That's where the root of my problem really is. I am an emotional eater, and I overeat often. Since last February, I've lost about 30 pounds (it was 35, but I gained a little weight over the holidays) And I'm ready to lose about 30 more. As of this week, I weight 166.4 pounds and I'm 5'7". So I'm close to the top of my healthy weight range, but I want to far below that in the next few months. Ideally, I would like to weight around 136.
Today's achievements so far: 1. I went to my zumba class and sweat up a storm!
2. I've eaten really well today. I'm trying to stay within about 21-25 weight watchers points a day
3. I haven't had any chocolate so far ;)
Things to improve upon for tomorrow: 1. Exercise at the gym!
2. Get enough sleep
3. Find the motivation to get some extra things done.
That's all for today. I'll probably post weight loss every Monday or something. That's a good plan. Thanks for listening... even though no one is listening. But that's ok, that's kind of the point.
